Under the leadership of Africa Field Director Peter & Deborah Thomas the first Africa General Council convened from April 29 to May 3 in Lu-saka, Zambia.

Nearly each of the 44 nations of the Africa field were represented during this conference. Our international leaders David Griffis und David Ste-phens as well as national leaders ministered in word and different topics. I was able to present a position paper against the use of clerical attire in the Church of God in Africa.

“Will our Children have Faith?” was the theme of the conference.

This is a very profound question, especially in light of the fact that Africa is a very young continent with 50% of its population being under the age of 18!
